Switchboard's resources (some available for loan, some for purchase, some free) include:
- A book describing Switchboard's history set in the context of local and national developments since the 1960s
- CD recordings of reminiscences by 20 lesbians and gay men whose ages range from 25 to 85
- Nottingham CHE's 1976 programme for Radio Nottingham (where we invented "the only gay in the village"!)
- An interactive CD ROM
- A selection of posters showing lesbian and gay Asian people in a positive light
- A4 pictures + potted biographies of 20 famous LGB people from BME communities
- A timeline of local LGBT history from 1967 consisting of about 30 A4 posters
- An automated Powerpoint presentation of 600 "famous LGBT faces". Extracts from this are available showing just the BME faces, just the Lesbian/bi-women faces and just the "sporting" faces
- Posters illustrating Nottingham Pride Festivals since 1997
- Materials relating to gays in the Holocaust and posters of the memorial sites across the world which commemorate gays in the Holocaust
- A map of the world showing punishments for homosexuality in various countries
- An automated Powerpoint presentation about what Switchboard does
- An automated Powerpoint presentation of LGBT History (with a Nottingham bias) since the 1960s
- "Pink Professions" a series of 48 A4 posters each containing 4 famous LGBT people with a single "profession" in common e.g. Politician, Olympic champion, Cartoon Character, Serial killer ....
- A directory of LGBT services for Nottinghamshire - available as an e-mailed Word document

We also have an extensive resource library. Items from this are not available for loan, but we can use it to provide appropriate references and reading lists.
